- February 11, 2006: Performed on stage at Heinz Hall accompanied by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra with 60 flutists performing Kirk Vogel’s “The Secret Language of Snow”
- June 5, 2006: Heinz Hall Lobby concert of PSO’s Composer in Residence, Jennifer Higdon’s works for flute choir
- August 10, 2006: Combined flute choirs (65 members) from the Flute Academy perform a showcase concert at the NFA convention in Pittsburgh
- August 11, 2006: Flute Academy Faculty is featured in a Healing and Remembrance concert at the NFA convention performing Higdon’s “Amazing Grace” and “Steeley Pause”
- August 12, 2006: Flute Academy joins members of the Pittsburgh Flute Club to create a 180 member flute choir performing in the NFA GALA CONCERT at the convention accompanied by a professional orchestra comprised of members of the PSO.
- September 15, 2006: 35 of the finest young players from the Flute Academy perform opening night on Heinz Hall stage with James Galway and the Pittsburgh Symphony in a world premier of “Galway Fair” by David Overton.
- September 15, 2006: 60 additional flutists perform Irish and Celtic flute choir music outdoors in three flute choirs throughout Pittsburgh’s Cultural District.
- March 11, 2007: Flutations and City Flutes performed during a church service at First Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, Then at 3:00 presented a full concert in the sanctuary as part of the 2007 performance series.
- April 21, 2007: The City Flutes performed a one hour program for the Tuesday Musical Club Saturday Concert Series.
- November 4, 2007: The City Flutes performed in the members recital for the Pittsburgh Flute Club in Murrysville, PA.
- March 24, 2008: All three flute choirs performed in the lobby of Carnegie Music Hall before a Pittsburgh Symphony Chamber Music concert.
